User Data Deletion Instructions

You may request deletion of personal data associated with your Talkelier account, a Meta-authorized connection or a conversation with a Talkelier-powered WhatsApp chatbot.

How to submit a request

  1. Email support@talkelier.com with the subject User data deletion request.
  2. State whether the request concerns a Talkelier account, a Meta/Facebook authorization, a WhatsApp conversation or all associated data.
  3. Provide the email address of the Talkelier account, or the WhatsApp phone number including country code and the name of the business or chatbot contacted. Do not send passwords, access tokens or verification codes.
  4. If you are an administrator requesting deletion for an organization, identify the workspace and your authorized role.

We will reply with a confirmation or the minimum additional information needed to verify identity and locate the data. Verification protects data from unauthorized deletion.

What we delete

Depending on the verified request and your relationship with Talkelier, deletion may include account profile data, Meta connection identifiers and protected credentials, external consumer routing identifiers, message content, chatbot answers, support information and other personal data that Talkelier is not required to retain.

If a business operates the chatbot, Talkelier may coordinate the request with that business because it controls the chatbot's purpose and customer relationship. You may also send the request directly to that business.

Timing and exceptions

We aim to acknowledge requests within 7 days and complete verified requests within 30 days. A longer period may apply when permitted by law because of request complexity, backup rotation or required coordination with the responsible customer; if so, we will provide a status update.

We may retain limited information when required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or content-free audit and delivery integrity. Retained information remains protected and is not used for unrelated purposes. Data in backups is removed through normal secure rotation.

Disconnecting Meta access

Disconnecting Talkelier from Meta stops future authorized access but may not by itself delete data already stored in Talkelier. To request deletion of stored data, follow the email procedure above. Customer administrators should also revoke the connection in Meta and Talkelier when ending an integration.
